The APEC card is applicable to Mexicans that accredit being a business person, and intend to enter to one of the APEC’s economies.

The benefit of this card is fast lanes in the documentation process when entering a member country.

• Permanent ABTC card: when all participant economies approve the issuance of the card to the applicant.
• Provisional ABTC card: issued only some economies have approved the card to the applicant.
• ABTC card replacement: replacement for the ABTC card can be solicited if this has been stolen, lost or expired.

The ABTC card functions as a multi-visa document to enter the participant’s economies.

What do I need to apply for an ABTC card and on what grounds does it depends the authorization? 

Be a Mexican citizen, accredit at least 2 trips per year to the participant countries of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), submit your application and accredit the economic activities of the applicant.

Where can I apply for the ABTC card? 

At the INM offices.

To apply for this procedure, you must visit the INM offices in person and submit your request (Instituto Nacional de Migracion).
